I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys cooking, quilting, reading and traveling. Most of all, I enjoy helping people with their food safety questions and dilemmas.

Experience

I am Roberta Anderson Shafer, and Food Safety is my passion. I have been involved in the food industry since 2003 and have been fortunate to experience many roles over the years. Most of my time was spent in the poultry industry, which involved working with live production through shipping. I have ready-to eat, further processing and raw sectors. As an AQS Certified auditor and have performed, implemented and maintained GFSI certifications, supplier audits and approvals, as well as animal welfare audits.
